MAN PREFERS PRISON TO HOUSE ARREST WITH HIS WIFE

A man under house arrest in Italy showed up at a police station asking to be put behind bars because he couldn’t stand living with his wife at home. The 30-year-old, living in Guidonia Montecelio, outside Rome, had been under house arrest for drug crimes for several months and still had a few years left to serve. The man was promptly arrested for violating his house arrest and transferred to prison.
* He’s been transferred from the institution of marriage to another institution almost as bad.
* She kept complaining, “You never take me anywhere.”
* So instead of living with his wife, he’d rather be his cellmate’s wife.
* He should have asked if he could serve house arrest with someone else’s wife.
