WOMAN CLAIMS SHE WAS HYPNOTIZED TO FART

A nurse unsuccessfully sued Britain’s National Health Service after claiming she had been hypnotized at work and made to fart against her will. Xandra Samson said poor heating and ventilation at Ealing Hospital, London, where she worked, altered her state of consciousness – in other words, hypnosis – and allowed supervisors to ‘control’ employees. She believes she became a target when she started noticing various symptoms including headaches, breathing difficulty, and gastrointestinal disturbance. The hospital repeatedly tried to get her to see a psychiatrist. Three different doctors saw her, with two deeming she was unfit to work due to psychosis, but she refused that diagnosis and then claimed she was ‘electro-magnetic radiation sensitive.’ The hospital eventually fired her in December 2019, and she sued. Her lawsuit was rejected last week.
