COWS FIGHT HUMANS FOR BEACH TURF IN CORSICA
Beaches on the island of Corsica were closed because of unusually aggressive cows. The French-owned Mediterranean island has over 15,000 cows who have moo-ved onto the mostly-empty beaches after a year of COVID lockdown. Tourists returning to the island’s famed beaches are trying to shoo the cows away, and the cows are fighting back. One man was hospitalized after being gored in the neck on a beach in Lotu, another herd of cows chased tourists down a popular street, and in the southern part of the island, crowds of cattle were caught damaging cars, private property and rampaging through picnics.
* Cows are real jerks. They’re jerky. Eventually.
* The picnics really got them riled up when they saw the roast beef sandwiches.
* What are the cows getting out of the beach? It’s not like there’s grass there.
* I guess they want their hide tanned one way or the other.
