SNAKE BITES MAN, MAN BITES SNAKE

In Madhodeh, India, Rama Mahto, 65, was sitting in front of his house on Sunday when a baby snake bit him on the leg. Mr. Mahto caught the little snake and decided to bite the snake back. Oh – did we say Mr. Mahto had been drinking? He was plastered. Anyway, as he was biting the snake out of revenge, the baby snake bit him in the face more than ten times. He eventually discarded the reptile in a nearby tree. Despite his family urging him to go to the hospital and seek treatment, he refused, believing the snake’s bite carried no venom because it was a baby. Mahto went to bed and on Monday morning he woke up dead.
* Worst snake charmer ever.
* Another of those Circle of Life things.
* Circle of Death?
* 65 years is a long time to live in a country full of deadly snakes and not to catch on to how they work.
* If there’s one thing we learned from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the smaller the critter, the more venomous it is. Remember the scorpion scene?
* Imagine you’re lying there, realizing this is the end, and thinking that your last meal was raw snake.
