COW MANURE THEFT
A massive load of cow manure was stolen from a village in India. Police say nearly a ton of cow dung worth 1,600 rupees (nearly $22!) was stolen from Dhurena village on the night of June 8. The product’s – or rather, by-product’s – value comes from a government program where the state purchases cattle-dung from farmers, converts it into compost and sells it back to farmers with the goal of promoting organic farming.
* Oh, what a pile of crap!
* Let me get this straight: They’ve got a pile of cow poop. The government gives money to the farmers, takes away the poop, lets it sit in a pile for awhile, then sells it back to the farmers. You can see how this can be quite lucrative.
* Good to see American-style government catching on over there.
* All I know is, someone’s hands are dirty in this affair.
* After towing away a ton of manure, I’ll be they were pooped.
* This happened on June 8, and it still hasn’t been solved? What has Interpol been up to? Let’s go, people!!!
* Meanwhile, the cows are going, “Dudes, chill. We got this.”
