SURVEY: SURVIVING IN THE WILDERNESS
A survey of 2,000 people by Avocado Green Mattresses asked if Americans could survive in the wild.
– The average American thinks they can survive for 16 days alone in the wilderness.
– Only 17 percent feel “very confident” in their ability to start a fire with flint.
– 14 percent feel confident in their ability to identify edible plants or berries in nature.
– 35 percent correctly spotted poison ivy when seeing it in a photo.
* How many of us could spot an Avocado Green Mattress in the wild?
* And how good can these mattresses be, if the most important thing they can tell us about them is their color?
* Are they not too soft, but not too firm? Well-made? A good value? Dunno. But they’re green. Avocado Green, to be exact.
* We barely made it through the toilet paper shortage. What makes people think they can survive 16 days in the wild?
