MAN CONS MANY WOMEN INTO GIVING HIM BIRTHDAY PRESENTS
A Japanese man has been busted for allegedly scamming over 35 different women with whom he pretended he was in a serious relationship. Takashi Miyagawa, a 39-year-old part-time worker in Kansai with no fixed address, told each of his “girlfriends” that his birthday fell on a different date so he could receive lots of gifts. None of the women knew about the others. Miyagawa reportedly met the single women while selling them hydrogen shower heads and other products for an unnamed company, and began each relationship under the assumption that marriage was in the cards. He managed to con at least 35 women before the women caught on and reported him to the police in February. All told, he netted over $900 worth of presents, clothes and cash.
* Man Hall of Fame material right there.
* When it comes to trolling for gifts, this guy’s got a gift.
* 35 birthdays? How can anyone eat that much cake?
* Sure it’s sleazy, but how is this illegal?
* A transient hydrogen shower head salesman. What a catch!
* And who gives money to a new boyfriend for their birthday? Did the women give him those cards where you insert, like, a $5 bill?
