THE BEST DRINK TO ORDER TO IMPRESS YOUR DATE: MARTINI

A survey of 2,000 Americans by the Jack Daniels company found a few interesting things:
– The first drink on a date makes a lasting first impression. Sixty percent of men in the poll agree a bad drink order would be a “deal-breaker” for them. 32 percent of women said the same.
– Three in five said a martini will make the ultimate good impression.
– Other drinks that impress include a gin and tonic, a Manhattan, a Cosmopolitan or a Whiskey Sour.
– The drink most likely to make a bad first impression is a Long Island Iced Tea, with 22 percent saying that’s a dating deal-breaker.
– Four out of five (79%) have a “go-to” drink that took them three years of experimenting on average to finally find.
* Lot of experimenting. Lots and lots of experimenting.
* Ordering a martini will impress your date. Choking the whole thing down will really impress them.
* But spitting the olive pit across the room will not impress them.
* Oh, and stick with olives. Do not order a martini with a cherry. Trust me.
* The important thing is, always do what surveys say will work out best. Never, ever just be yourself.
