CANDY TASTE TESTER WANTED
A Canadian candy company is seeking taste testers for their confections. Candy Funhouse, based in Mississauga, Ontario, said the job offers $47 an hour to sample and review some of the company’s 3,000 candy and chocolate treats. According to the job posting: “Candidates should have enthusiasm and eagerness to try confectionary products. We are looking for honest and objective opinions on the products that will be taste tested.” Applications are being accepted online through Feb. 15.
* That’s nutty. Or, in the candy world, nougatty.
* $47 an hour. That’s quite the Payday. The money is Good & Plenty.
* A job like that in this economy can be a real Lifesaver.
* You’ll be working along Mike & Ike, Mr. Goodbar, and, uh… Oh – Henry!
* High school degree required. Smarties Only. No Airheads or Dum Dums – Bar None.
* It’s a pretty good job, up until about 4 o’clock in the afternoon when the sight of one more piece of candy makes you projectile vomit.
* Shhh … don’t tell them they could set up tables on the sidewalk and people would test their candy for free.
