WE START FEELING OLD AT 47

A new survey by Elysium Health of 2,000 Americans finds that the average American starts feeling old at the age of 47. In addition:
– The average respondent starts to really worry about age-related bodily changes around 50 years old.
– 64% worry that their mental abilities won’t last as long as their physical health.
– 38% say they need a few moments to remember their significant other’s birthday.
– Over half – 58% – frequently forget people’s names moments after meeting them.
* And what’s worse, many people forget people’s names after meeting them.
* More signs you’re getting old:
– You remember an original movie, but everyone around you only knows the reboot.
– Your favorite songs are suddenly streaming on the “Oldies” channel.
– Your favorite actors and music stars are all dying.
– You realize that everyone playing professional sports is younger than you.
– Not to mention your doctor, your dentist, pilots on planes …
* Just watching the news each night, that 64% number worried about their mental abilities seems awfully low.
