FIREFIGHTERS EXTINGUISH 22-TON PILE OF CHICKEN MANURE

Firefighters crews from three towns in Britain spent three hours extinguishing a 22-ton pile of burning chicken manure. Crews from Leiston, Eye and Stowmarket responded to the property near Mendlesham when the pile of chicken droppings spontaneously erupted in flames. Officials said it took about three hours to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
* Spontaneously combusted? Had some of the chickens been eating spicy Indian food?
