HUSBAND PUNCHES OUT SHARK TO SAVE WIFE
An Australian woman was rescued from a shark attack when her husband came over and punched it. Chantelle Doyle was attacked by a 10-foot great white shark Saturday while surfing at Shelly Beach in Port Macquarie, Australia, on Saturday morning, sustaining severe lacerations to her right leg. Doyle’s husband was also surfing nearby and immediately came to her rescue. He paddled to his wife, jumped off his board onto the shark and punched it to get it to release her and then assisted her back into the beach. Doyle was treated by bystanders and paramedics until she could be taken to a nearby hospital.
* Mr. Doyle stayed and continued with his epic surfing day.
* “‘Til death do we part? Not today, sharky!”
* Somebody got lucky that night. Or as soon as the bandages came off.
* Sharks let go when you punch ’em ’cause they get frustrated when they realize they have no arms to punch back with.
* Whatever happened to “sharks just want a taste, and when they find out you’re not a fish they leave you alone”? When did that change?
