AUDIO: LOCKDOWN LEADS TO BAD SLEEP

A new survey suggests that life during lockdown has left many Americans feeling more exhausted than before. The study, from mattress maker Leesa Sleep, asked 2,000 Americans about the impact of the pandemic on their sleep schedules.
– Six-in-10 responded that they’ve had more trouble sleeping than they normally do. (* This might not be totally because of the lockdown. Part of it, just maybe, might be because you LOST YOUR JOB or ARE AFRAID TO DIE!)
– 44 percent of respondents admitted to staying up later simply because they can sleep in longer.
– 46 percent of people admitted to only getting out of bed about 10 minutes before they had to start a remote work shift.
* 89 percent of respondents yelled at the surveyor for waking them up.
* 100 percent of respondents thought the survey was stupid because we already know how the lockdown has affected our sleep.
* How messed up are people’s sleep? I’m sleep-DJ-ing right now!
* I usually wake up about 10 minutes before going on the air, but I’ve been doing that since before the pandemic.
