INDIAN PARENTS NAME THEIR KIDS “CORONA” AND “LOCKDOWN”

Two families in Uttar Pradesh, India, have named their babies “Corona” and “Lockdown”.
– Bablu Tripathi and Ragini Tripathi became parents of the baby girl on the day India imposed a nationwide curfew. She was named Corona by her uncle as “The symbol of unity in the fight against novel corona virus,” he said.
– A week later, on Sunday evening, a baby boy was born and within hours he was named Lockdown by his family. His father said, “My boy will remind everyone to take precautions against COVID-19, to save themselves and the nation.”
* A girl named Corona. She’s got a lifetime of “super spreader” jokes ahead of her.
* So in the future, when you need to remember the pandemic, just think of little baby Lockdown, and it will remind you of the coronavirus.
* These two join previous disaster-named kids Titanic, Great Depression, and New Coke.
* Quarantina would have been better.
* Pathogina, too.
* Ed Pidemic.
