MAN WANTS TO FLY KITE TO 20,000 FEET

A Canadian man is seeking federal approval so he can fly a kite to a height of 20,000 feet. Adele Karame, of Vernon, British Columbia, said he wants to break the Guinness World Record for highest kite flight, which was set in 2014 when a man flew his kite to a height of 16,009 feet. Karame has checked with local airports, but needs approval from Transport Canada to attempt his record. He has yet to hear back from the agency.
* He’s hoping they say “Ahh, go fly a kite!”
* Is that 20,000 in American feet or Canadian feet?
* He would break the kite-flying record, then when he’s done he can wind the kite string into a ball and break the Biggest Ball of String record.
* You know it’s just going to end up on some guy’s roof in Seattle.
