“PUPPETRY OF THE PENIS” PERFORMER INJURED IN FREAK ACCIDENT
There is a show out of Australia called “Puppetry of the Penis”, where two guys stand on stage, strip down to nothing, and put on what’s been called a “genital origami show.” The show was being performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival last Wednesday night when performer David Friend was doing his signature trick, “The Bulldog,” when he plopped down on a woman’s lap. Unfortunately, Mr. Friend sat directly on a corkscrew in the woman’s pocket, a souvenir from her trip to a winery earlier that day. The corkscrew punctured his testicles, and he was advised to give his act a rest for the coming week. Another comedian who has performed the show in the past will sub for Friend while he recovers.
* Corkscrew in the pocket. Well that’s a new twist.
* Did they have to spin him around to get him off the lady’s lap?
* I wonder which hurt more – the puncture, or the tourniquet?
* “Puppetry of the Penis”. Sounds like their poor willies really get manhandled.
