SNOWBOUND TEENS BURN HOMEWORK TO STAY WARM

Two snowboarding teenagers didn’t return Sunday from an out-of-bounds area near the Whitewater Ski Resort in British Columbia. A search for the 16-year-old boys was suspended as the weather worsened. A helicopter was brought in Monday, and the air crew spotted the pair and picked them up. The boys had managed to build a fire and a shelter for warmth. One of them had homework in his backpack and they burned that to keep the fire going.
* Which branch of mathematics did they burn?
* It was probably log…arithms.
* I hope they learned their lesson, before they burned it.
* They need to do some homework on what “out-of-bounds area” means.
* It’s a good thing they didn’t use the “my dog ate my homework” excuse, or they would have had to burn their dog.
