In England, a man suspected of repeatedly calling police on 999 – that’s England’s 911 – and burping at the emergency call handler has been arrested. The man repeatedly called the emergency line – 22 times over the previous week – then belched. The suspect was arrested Tuesday morning at Peterborough railway station after making 19 calls that morning alone. Said police, “This may make you laugh, but for us this is no laughing matter.”
