NEW ALGORITHM PREDICTS WHEN YOU’RE GOING TO QUIT YOUR JOB

A couple of university professors claim to have developed a new algorithm that can predict when an employee might quit. Professors Brooks Holtom of Georgetown University and David Allen of Texas Christian University say there are two main indicators that an employee is about to quit.
– The first was “turnover shocks,” such as a change in leadership at the company or if your company makes a major acquisition.
– The second is “job embeddedness,” or how deeply connected a worker feels to their organization, which is determined by the number of past jobs, employment anniversary and tenure, skills, education, gender and geography.
* A third factor is if your boss is Donald Trump.
* “Job embeddedness” applies to people who work in mattress stores, and hookers.
* Don’t they factor in if you win the lottery?
* A company could really save some money on the office Christmas party using this.
