MAN WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY STEALS 1,300 CREDIT CARD NUMBERS

A store cashier in Tokyo has been arrested on allegations of stealing the credit card information of 1,300 customers using just his memory. The man, who worked part-time at a shopping mall, allegedly memorized customers’ credit card information while processing their orders – then recalled the credit card details later to shop online. The suspect has a photographic memory and police found his notebook with card details listed in it.
* And I can’t even remember my own telephone number.
* He may have a photographic memory, but he still has trouble remembering where he left his car keys.
* If they let him out on bail, I bet he heads straight for Vegas.
* Maybe he could do community service appearing on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us”?
* This kind of thing will start getting REALLY fun when more people have glasses with cameras in them.
