TV CHOPPER SPOTS ROOFTOP MARIJUANA GARDEN

A helicopter camera was following cyclists racing through the Catalan town of Igualada during the final leg of Spain’s Vuelta cycling race. As the camera swooped over city streets, more than a few sharp-eyed viewers noticed a rooftop marijuana garden on an apartment building. Viewers reported the sighting to the Catalan police force, who went to the property to investigate. Officers found 40 individual plants on the rooftop but no arrests were made as the growers had reportedly “left the property in a hurry”.

* Too cheap to spring for grow lights, huh?
* Nobody watching the race ran over to grab the plants? What’s wrong with those people?
