KING OF THAILAND NAMES “OFFICIAL CONCUBINE”
The King of Thailand had an interesting week. Last Sunday, King Rama held a ceremoney where he named his longtime girlfriend – a general in the Thai army – as his official mistress. King Rama named Major-General Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi the new Royal Noble Consort, the official title for the chief concubine. He conducted this ceremony while sitting next to his new wife of less than three months – another former General in his army named Suthida Vajiralongkorn. She was also a former Thai Airways flight attendant, and married the King in an official ceremony back on May 1st. She is his fourth wife, Rama having divorced the previous three.
* Now he never has to ask, “Who wants to do Thai tonight?”
