A man from Elban, Russia, complained to his doctors of hearing loss. It didn’t take long for them to find the problem. The man had a two-inch double-headed nail lodged in his brain. The man, whose name has been withheld from the media, says he had “forgotten about” the accident, probably because he was drunk when it happened while he was working on a home renovation project several years ago. Astonishingly, he claimed to have felt no pain all these years from the nail. That was in his head.
