71% FEAR SELF-DRIVING CARS

The American Automobile Association, brought out the results of a study Friday showing that while you still can’t buy a fully self-driving car in the US, the public is still afraid of them. 71 percent of respondents to the AAA study admitted they would definitely be afraid to ride in one. That’s a higher number than the last time they did the study, when only 63 percent were afraid of self-driving cars. That survey was taken before reports of accidents and deaths attributed to the cars.
* So, 100% of 71% of the people have common sense.
* One group that hates them 100%: hitch-hikers.
* It’s not that we’re afraid of self-driving cars, it’s the self-crashing cars.
* If these cars start working together, we’re screwed.
* Get ready: we’re about to be the test generation where they work the kinks out.
* Look, why don’t the companies go work on the software in those Boeing planes first, get that all worked out, and then we’ll talk about self-driving cars.
