SHOE THIEF GOT OFF ON THE SMELL

In Japan, a man accused of stealing 70 pairs of shoes admitted in court that he got “sexual pleasure” by sniffing them. Makoto Endo of Saitama, Japan, was arrested in September for stealing more than $2,700 of shoes. It didn’t matter if the shoes were from men or women, as long as they were “well-worn”. Police said they found many boxes of used footwear in his home at the time of arrest.
