CARS: A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY
Americans see their cars as much more than just a vehicle. According to a survey from Toco Warranty, 60% of drivers consider their cars to be a part of the family.
* A part that’s really expensive, like a teenager.
– 56% of owners name their vehicle.
* Does “Heap of Junk” count as a name?
– 40% of us talk to our cars.
* Does cursing at your car count as talking?
– 20% feel guilty when driving a car not their own.
– We’re not sure how they came up with these numbers but, according to the survey, the average car owner sleeps two and a half nights in their car, eats six entire meals in it, and has sex in it three times.
* Cars are like a member of the family. Just like your Uncle Dave, it’s full of gas and leaves skid marks.
* PHONE TOPIC: What is your car’s name?
