GUY PROPOSES TO GIRLFRIEND AFTER TAKING AMBIEN, DOESN’T REMEMBER

A guy calling himself oprayerman recently confessed on Reddit that he accidentally proposed to his girlfriend after taking Ambien. He said that he was having trouble sleeping, so he ended up taking 4 times the recommended dosage of the notorious sleep aid. He wrote, “I had an engagement ring in my drawer … woke up and she was wearing the ring on her finger and explained what had happened.” He even updated his Facebook relationship status to “engaged” while in his Ambien-induced haze. He said he had not planned on getting engaged for another year and a half.
* Yeah, well, “You snooze, you lose.”
* Ambien. As in, “I Ambien an idiot.”
* If he knows what’s good for him, he’ll take some before the wedding, and continue on throughout his marriage.
* Most importantly, can he prove this in court?
* It’s like when Roseanne said she was on Ambien when she sent those tweets that got her kicked off her show. Except this really happened.
* This is so unbelievable, it could be the plot of an Adam Sandler movie.
