AUDIO: LAWN RIVALRY

A new survey of 2,000 homeowners by the lawn equipment company Yard Force examined just how competitive people get over their lawns:
– Four in ten American homeowners (38 percent) work to make their yard the best one on the block.
– The average person would even spend nearly a grand ($912) if it meant their lawn would be the finest in the neighborhood.
– Nearly half (48 percent) said their neighborhood gets a little competitive on the matter.
– Fifty-eight percent admit to making an improvement in their yard after seeing a neighbor make one to theirs.
* This survey was performed by the science department at Hank Hill University.
* Your lawn’s greener than mine? Good for you.
* Like I say, the other man’s grass is always his problem.
* There are 100 million homeless people on earth, but yeah, get those dandelions!
* I’ll bet these are the same people who go nuts with the Christmas lights.
