MAN TIES HELIUM BALLOONS TO BLOW-UP DOLL

A 19-year-old Canadian man was arrested after he tied helium balloons to a blow-up doll and let it go. The charge was posing a hazard to aircraft. The man let the blow-up doll loose on July 3rd at Ambleside Beach in Vancouver Harbor for a stunt that he was filming. He had named the doll “Britney”. Police described it as “an adult-sized and shaped inflatable” with 10 large helium balloons attached to it. The officer believed release of the inflatables posed a hazard to aircraft entering or leaving the harbor area.
