BABOON GOT LOOSE AT SAN ANTONIO AIRPORT

A baboon escaped Monday afternoon at San Antonio International Airport. The animal was being transferred from Brown University in Rhode Island to a primate sanctuary in Texas. The baboon somehow escaped his cage while being transported to cargo. After nearly two hours on the loose, he was cornered in a baggage handling area, tranquilized and put back in a cage.
* And no, they did not spank the monkey.
* Funny how the baboon goes right to the baggage handling area. I’m just sayin’.
* He was loose for two hours, but he didn’t buy anything ’cause hey – those airport prices are crazy!
* I’m surprised it didn’t try to sneak on a flight as someone’s service animal.
