25-YEAR-OLD MAN POSES AS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

A 25-year-old Dallas, Texas man was arrested for posing as a high school student and playing on the boys’ basketball team. Sidney Gilstrap-Portley, who actually graduated high school in 2011, pretended he was a homeless victim of Hurricane Harvey and enrolled himself at Hillcrest High School. He went under the name of Rashaun Richardson and claimed he was 17 years old. Gilstrap-Portley was also becoming popular with the girls by being on the basketball team, and was having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old girl at the school. The girl told her parents that he kissed and touched her, but she said she didn’t have a sexual relationship with him.
