MEN CAUGHT STEALING MAILBOX

New York police stumbled on a trio of men trying to make off with a mailbox early Friday morning. It was just after 3 a.m. in Queens when officers said they noticed three men carrying the mailbox – the big, blue kind – and cramming it into the back of a minivan. Two of the men fled on foot, police said. One was arrested on the spot. Charges are pending.

* “Let’s go find jobs.” “Nah – too hard. Let’s go steal a mailbox, figure out how to break it open, go through all the letters, look for checks, forge the signatures, and face felony charges.” “Yeah, okay.”
