WOMAN LEAVES SCENE OF ACCIDENT, DRIVES INTO TREE, DIES

A woman was killed when she hit a tree with her car after leaving the scene of a wreck she caused in Greensboro, North Carolina. Marssteller Armstrong, 65, was driving in the wrong lane and with no headlights on Saturday night when she hit another driver. Police say Armstrong fled the scene “at a high rate of speed” and then hit a tree a half-mile later. Authorities say Armstrong died at the scene.

* Dummy! The first accident should have been her clue to turn on the headlights.
