MAN BATTERS BOYFRIEND WITH BILLY BASS FISH

A Sebastian, Florida, man was arrested after allegedly hitting his boyfriend in the head with a Big Mouth Billy Bass, the novelty singing fish. Police responded to a domestic violence call and found Larry Timmerman with a laceration on his head, an injury the victim said was caused by a Big Mouth Billy Bass thrown by Gregory Carney, 54. The two men had been quarreling and at one point, Carney went into the den and began playing with his singing fish, just to aggravate Timmerman. After having to endure several Big Mouth Billy Bass performances, Timmerman tossed Billy Bass in the trash. With Billy Bass in the trash, Carney became angry and threw it at his boyfriend, striking Timmerman in the head. Carney was arrested for domestic battery, a misdemeanor.
