SUSPECT SINKS IN SWAMP MUD
A suspect fleeing from police in Florida on Tuesday ran into a swamp and sank up to his neck in thick mud. As deputies attempted to stop the man for speeding, the driver, identified as Paul Andrew Smith, got out of his car and fled on foot into a nearby swamp. A K-9 police dog located Smith in the swamp, finding him submerged up to his neck in mud. It took several deputies working together to pull Smith free from the muck.
* After about four minutes of teasing and wisecracks.
* It was sink or swim, except without the option to swim.
* When he realized what was happening, he got that sinking feeling.
* The K-9 dog was thinking: “Hmm. A living head with no body. Well, THIS is new!”
* This sounds like a job for Extra Strength Tide!
* Hey, at least there weren’t any ‘gators.
