MAN DIES WHILE PRACTICING HOLDING HIS BREATH UNDERWATER
A Utah man died Saturday morning after losing consciousness in a pool at a fitness center. 39-year-old Gabriel Crowther of Taylorsville was “practicing holding his breath” underwater when he lost consciousness. Lifeguards pulled him from the pool and performed CPR, but despite the CPR attempts, Crowther died at the scene. Police say the lifeguards knew Crowther and were aware of his practice of holding his breath under water.
* “You – outta the gene pool, fella!”
* He used to argue with the lifeguards about it until he was blue in the face.
* On the bright side, he’s just broken his personal record for breath-holding.
* Is it time for the Darwin Olympics already?
