DAD MAKES BULLYING SON, BANNED FROM SCHOOL BUS, RUN TO SCHOOL

A Virginia father posted a Facebook video that he says shows his 10-year-old son running to school in the rain as a form of punishment for bullying in school, and being banned from the school bus for 3 days. Bryan Thornhill said his son ran a mile to school for one week. He filmed the runs from inside his truck. Thornhill said that, since the punishment, his son has not gotten into trouble. Since he’s been running to school, “his behavior’s been better. Teachers have approved of his behavior this week,” Thornhill said. “This right here is called parenting,” he said. “Teach your kids. Don’t be a friend, be a parent. That’s what children need these days.” The vast majority of comments from viewers have been positive.
* So, bullying is genetic, then?
* Running to school. In the rain. Was it also uphill?
* Of course his behavior’s been better. He’s exhausted.
* And that’s how the Thornill boy began his journey to becoming a future Olympic distance runner.
* Although he really didn’t need to nudge his son with the truck to run faster.
