WOMAN DUMPS POPCORN ON NOISY 2-YEAR-OLD AT MOVIES

This happened back on January 2nd at a movie theater in Levittown, Long island, but the perpetrators were just charged last Friday. Keri Karman, 25, and her father were at the movies – the 6:40 show. They were seated next to a 2-year-old girl and her mother. The girl was being a 2-year-old; fairly noisy. The girl asked her mother for some popcorn. Karman snapped at the child to keep quiet, angering the tot’s mother — who told Karman to leave her daughter alone. Karman screamed and swore at the 28-year-old mom before clamping her hand over the little girl’s mouth — and then dumped a tub of popcorn on the child’s head. Then, they took off. Police tracked them down and they were charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child.
* Like the popcorn, the child was…a-salted.
