FELON ARRESTED FOR POSSESSING GUNS, A BOBCAT
Police in Orland Park, Illinois, arrested a convicted felon who was living in a vacant store and kept a bobcat as a roommate. Police received information that the man was in possession of firearms in a former storefront, so they got a warrant to search the property. Inside they found 41-year-old Philip Giese living in the building. They also recovered two loaded handguns, more than 100 rounds of ammunition, and a bobcat – larger than a typical domestic cat. The animal was turned over to the Department of Natural Resources, and Giese was cited for possessing a wild animal.
* I don’t think you possess a bobcat. It’s more like the bobcat tolerates YOU.
* Well, the guns are in case the bobcat decides to cause trouble, innit?
* Usually, people are annoyed when their cat ignores them. In this case, it’s what you want.
* Imagine if they had brought in a K-9 dog. Yikes!
* The fur would fly. And probably some organs.
* Helluva mouser though. I bet that abandoned storefront did NOT have a rodent problem.
