FASHION SHOW COVERED FLOOR IN POPCORN

It’s Fashion Week in New York City. Calvin Klein’s show last Thursday night had a Hollywood theme, so fashion designer Raf Simons decided to cover the entire floor with tons of popcorn – 50,000 gallons of it. Celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern had to wade through mounds of popcorn in their high-heeled sandals, while the models slogged through the snack as they strutted (* So brave. So very brave.). Michael Bloch, owner of the Rochester-based Popcorn Charlie’s, said it took about three weeks to pop it all.
* Starving people in Africa are going, “You’re kidding, right?”
* Corniest idea ever.
* There was more corn in that room than all of “The Shape of Water”.
* They used popcorn because Raisinettes made the model’s shoes too sticky.
* Then the pigeons attacked.
