COCKROACHES STOLEN

Rosalinda Vizina, a Marina, California, entomologist studying roaches, had a shipment of live cockroaches stolen from her mailbox. She says her neighborhood has experienced an increase in mail theft recently, and now she’s become a victim. The 500 cockroaches were part of a study she’s conducting. Vizina says she feels bad for the roaches if they got smushed, but as for the thieves, she says, “I hope they went everywhere.”
