AUDIO: WOMAN TRIED TO BRING "SUPPORT PEACOCK" ON AIRPLANE

United Airlines recently refused a woman’s request to bring her emotional support peacock on a flight out of Newark Airport. Even though the unidentified woman claimed that she had a second ticket for the peacock, the airline denied her request. United issued a statement: “This animal did not meet guidelines for a number of reasons, including its weight and size. We explained this to the customers on three separate occasions before they arrived at the airport.”
* If you’ve got a peacock for emotional support, you need more than emotional support.
* Do psychiatrists really do this? “After six months of therapy, Mrs. Loopner, I’ve determined the best thing for your road back to mental health, is a peacock.”
* Maybe the doctor has bad handwriting and actually wanted her to buy a puppy?
* It’s a bird. Stick it on the wing.
CLIP: In case you need to be reminded, here is what a peacock sounds like.
