NEW JERSEY COUPLE MARRIED IN COURTHOUSE BATHROOM
A New Jersey couple got married inside the Monmouth County courthouse bathroom due to a medical emergency. Brian and Maria Schulz and their mothers were at the courthouse for the ceremony, but Brian’s mother became short of breath. 911 was called, and the mother was taken to the women’s room to be given oxygen. Rescheduling the wedding wasn’t an option, so the judge married the couple in the women’s room while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. Brian’s mother was checked out by the EMT’s and given the all-clear. The couple says that they were touched that the sheriff’s officers and Judge Katie Gummer were willing to help them go forward with their special day.
* “Do you take this man to be your husband, here in this restroom?” “I doo doo.”
* If you’re short of breath, never go into a MEN’S bathroom. They’re rank!
* The next step was the janitor supply closet for the honeymoon.
* Instead of rice, their friends threw rolls of toilet paper.
* And to remember the day, the couple is keeping a piece of urinal cake in their freezer.
