HERO COP SAVES BABY FROM CHOKING, HIS FIRST DAY ON THE JOB
An Indiana cop saved a toddler choking on an apple at a Chick-fil-A. It was his first day as a paid police officer. Police Officer Richard Mayer was dining at the Chick-fil-A in Merrillville with a few of his colleagues when a woman ran to him for help, saying her daughter was choking on a piece of apple. He grabbed the child, flipped her over and slapped her on the back, dislodging the apple. Mayer revealed that it was his first day on the job and saving the toddler was his first act as a paid police officer.
* Remember, parents – order your kids a healthy apple when you go out for fast food.
* Did he arrest the mother for child endangerment? I mean, you’re supposed to give toddlers apple SAUCE, right?
* First day on the job and the first thing he does is head out for lunch with the gang?
* Good thing they weren’t at Dunkin Donuts.
