AUDIO: PIZZA AND A PLOW: UPDATE
(note: We posted this story on Monday. Since that time, Morning Sidekick affiliate Adam Owens of WDNH-FM 95.3 in Honesdale, PA was inspired to create a little jingle for the story. He sent it to us, we think it’s funny. So, we’re re-posting the story today with the jingle!)
A Michigan pizzeria is now offering snowed-in customers a “pizza and plow” service that includes delivering a large one-topping pizza and snowplowing the caller’s driveway. Tony Gloriosos, co-owner of Mario’s Pizza in Union Pier, said business was slow and no one was coming out to the store. So, he came up with pizza and a plow. The cost is just $30, but he says the price might change if the snow gets heavier.
