MAN BELIEVED PAT SAJAK TOLD HIM TO KILL HIS MOTHER

An Akron, Ohio, man who believed “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak instructed him to kill his elderly mother back in 2016 has been found not guilty by reason of insanity. The defense attorney argued that 48-year-old Derrick Williams believed he was getting messages from the TV game show when he heard his hometown mentioned. He thought Pat Sajak was telling him to kill his mother when Sajak said, “Do it.” Williams’ attorney said he was off his medication and “clearly was psychotic.”
* As Vanna lights another candle on the pentagram and says, “It’s working, O Satan. It’s working.”
* Seriously, I can’t imagine Pat Sajak doing something like this. Alex Trebek, maybe.
* Derrick also believed that if he killed his mom, he’d win a car.
* I can see where you might confuse the words “Akron, Ohio” with “Kill your mother.” It’s almost a perfect homophone.
* “Pat Sajak would never hurt a F – L – I’d like to buy a vowel, please.”
