DOCTOR'S LICENSE SUSPENDED FOR REPEATEDLY ASKING "WHAT DO I DO NEXT?"
A New Jersey medical board has temporarily suspended the license of a doctor who was accused of behaving erratically. Sharon Worosilo has practices in East Brunswick and Franklin Township. Worosilo allegedly tried for more than 40 minutes to perform an epidural injection on a patient while repeatedly asking an X-ray technician what she should do next. The complaint questions her ability to practice medicine and surgery with reasonable skill and safety.
* “Reasonable” skill and safety? Gee, must you set the bar so high?
* She kept asking an X-ray technician what she should do next? Dummy! That’s what Google is for!
* Sounds like she got her medical training from that M*A*S*H episode where Father Mulcahey has to do the tracheotomy.
* She has two practices and STILL she hasn’t had enough practice.
* This could all have been avoided if only after asking “What’s next?” she’d said “Just checking if you knew.”
