PERP FART ENDS COP INTERROGATION

24-year-old Sean A. Sykes Jr. of Kansas City is facing federal gun and drug charges. According to the documents, while he was being questioned, Sykes denied knowing anything about the guns and drugs found in his car during two different traffic stops. In his report about the interrogation, the detective wrote that when asked about his address, “Mr. Sykes leaned to one side of his chair and released a loud fart before answering with the address.” The detective added, “Mr. Sykes continued to be flatulent and I ended the interview.”
* Sounds like Mr. Sykes was issuing his own report.
* So, what was his address? Beantown? Maybe the Windy City?
* When people in law enforcement wake up in the morning, they never know if this is the day they’ll need to put their life on the line … or worse.

* Before he left, the detective informed him he had the right to remain silent but deadly.
* Later, the detective resumed questioning wearing scuba gear.
