185 SMUGGLED GALAPAGOS TORTOISES

Workers at a Galapagos Island airport in Ecuador found a suitcase filled with 185 baby giant tortoises wrapped in plastic. Officials at Seymour Airport on the island of Baltra X-rayed a suitcase and noticed irregularities. Inside, they discovered the engendered tortoises. Ten were dead. The individuals who checked the suitcase have been held for questioning.
* Are baby giant tortoises just the size of regular tortoises?
* Why were they wrapped in plastic? Turtles already come in their own packaging.
