12-YEAR-OLD STEALS SCHOOL BUS
Police in Bangor, Maine, say a 12-year-old boy stole a school bus and went on a brief joy ride before being stopped by a man who was able to get on and take control of the vehicle. John St. Germain and his girlfriend saw the bus being driven by someone who appeared to be too young to have a license. They began following the bus and called police. St. Germain waited until the bus stopped at an intersection, got out of his car and hopped onto the bus, taking control of it. The 12-year-old was taken into custody.
* And thus the next “Fast N’ Furious” legend was born.
* A joy ride? Sure – any time you’re on a school bus and isn’t headed for school, it’s a joy ride.
* Another daring adventure with no exit strategy.
* Now it’s time for the kid to go to recess – at juvy.
* Hey, there’s no need to go to this trouble. Just tell your mom you feel sick and you have to stay home that day.
* Here’s an idea for you: Get all the kids who steal cars when they’re young and let them race against each other for charity.
* I’m just trying to help here.
* How would you like to be waiting to catch the school bus and this clown drives by at 60 miles an hour?
